The 2025 Rocket Classic gets underway Thursday morning with the first round at Detroit Golf Club in Michigan. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament on Thursday, including full Rocket Classic TV coverage, streaming info and Round 1 tee times.
How to watch Rocket Classic on Thursday
Two years ago, Detroit was the culmination of Rickie Fowler‘s return to form after a four-year winless drought. With a birdie on the first playoff hole after was wayward tee shot, Fowler reached the winner’s circle once again at the Rocket, just two weeks after a heartbreaking close call at the U.S. Open and it couldn’t have come at a more fitting stop.
Fowler has a long-standing partnership with Rocket — formerly known as Quicken Loans — and has never missed this tournament since its inception.
“Seeing that partnership continue to grow and kind of hear about this dream from them and wanting a tournament to ultimately end up in Detroit, it seemed like I wouldn’t say a big ask but it’s a big move. But that’s where Rocket’s based, up here in Detroit,” Fowler said Wednesday. ” To see this event grow, see the fan and town support that we’ve — that’s grown over theyears, and then also what Rocket, the Rocket family’s been able to do with kind of helping rebuild Detroit, like I say, it’s just been great to be a part of and fun to be back this week.”
Fowler will be looking to find that form once again this week in Detroit as he comes into the week having recorded his first three top-25s of the season in his last five events, including a T7 at the Memorial which got him into the Open Championship.
