The PGA Tour’s 2025 RBC Canadian Open goes down this week at TPC Toronto in Ontario, Canada. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament, including a full Canadian Open TV schedule, streaming info and complete tee times for the first and second rounds once they are released.
How to watch RBC Canadian Open
There are two big storylines heading into this year’s RBC Canadian Open: the return of Rory McIlroy and preperation for the third major of the year next week at Oakmont.
McIlroy won the 2025 Masters in April to complete the career Grand Slam. That was one of three PGA Tour wins the World No. 2 has already collected this season. McIlroy then suprised many observers when he chose to skip last week’s Jack Nicklaus-hosted Memorial Tournament. But he did so in favor of playing Canada’s national championship this week.
Rory McIlroy’s Strategic Tournament Absence Sparks Debate
Rory McIlroy’s absence from the Memorial Tournament has sparked debate, with some critics questioning his commitment. As he prioritizes national championships and global growth of golf, McIlroy’s evolving career strategy may redefine his legacy in the sport.
Unlike last week’s Signature Event field, which featured World No. 1 and eventual winner Scottie Scheffler, McIlroy is far-and-away the featured player this week in Canada. He’s also a huge betting favorite.
But plenty of other stars — such as Ludvig Aberg, Shane Lowry and top-ranked Canadian pro Corey Conners — will do everything they can do thwart McIlroy’s fourth win, all with one eye on next week’s U.S. Open.
CBS and Golf Channel will air TV coverage of the 2025 RBC Canadian Open, while PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will offer streaming coverage online. Finally, you can live stream the CBS coverage on Paramount+ and Golf Channel’s coverage on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports App.
